Step into the practice of Circling, an immersive 2.5-hour experience where participants are guided into deep relational presence. Led by Morgan Klein, a seasoned facilitator, this session offers a unique journey into mindful communication and authentic connection. Through Circling, participants will learn to stay grounded in the present moment, observe the emotions and sensations that arise within themselves, and share their inner experiences in a way that fosters openness, responsibility, and trust.

Circling is about discovering new ways of being with others. By practicing relational mindfulness, participants leave with powerful communication tools and a heightened ability to be present not only with their own emotional states but also with the experiences of others. The outcome is a sense of nourishment from the depth, intimacy, and realness of connecting with another human being.

What to Expect:

Throughout the session, participants will sit together in a circle, engaging in various practices designed to deepen connection and presence. Here’s a breakdown of the evening:

  • Introductions: We start by going around the circle, each person introducing themselves with their name, current emotional state, and intention for the evening. This sets the tone for openness and self-awareness.
  • Warm-up Exercises: These initial exercises or games help the group settle into the experience. They are designed to either foster presence or introduce specific tools for communication and expression.
  • Focus and Flow Circles: The core of Circling involves two primary practices:
  • Focus Circle: The group directs its attention toward one individual, maintaining curiosity and presence to explore that person’s experience deeply.
  • Flow Circle: The group remains in collective awareness, where the focus is on the dynamic between all participants, allowing insights and connection to emerge naturally. Depending on the flow of the evening, we may either move between these two practices or spend an extended time in one.
  • Closing Circle: We conclude the evening with each participant sharing how they were impacted by the session and what they are taking away from the experience.

Event Logistics:

  • Timing: Doors will close at 7:05 PM, with no late entry permitted to maintain the integrity of the space and the flow of the session. We recommend arriving early to settle in and prepare for the experience.

This is not just a gathering but a carefully held container where participants can practice staying present with whatever arises, whether that’s joy, discomfort, vulnerability, or curiosity. It’s a rare opportunity to explore communication on a deeper level and to learn to express and receive fully in a community setting.
