Event Type

Join Josh Rosenberg and Daniel Ricciardelli for a twice-monthly drop-in Relatefulness practice, an immersive experience where participants explore present-moment awareness and connection within a group. Relatefulness draws from relational practices like Circling™, Authentic Relating, and T-Group, but centers on the honest, real-time experience of relating to others. Participants notice their relational patterns, emotions, and body sensations, sharing their observations to help the group understand one another and deepen their collective awareness.

This practice complements traditional meditation by emphasizing mindful awareness in a relational context. By focusing on the connection between self and others within the group, participants can:

  • Discover new and more fulfilling ways of interacting with themselves and others.
  • Apply personal growth insights in a real-world interpersonal setting.
  • Experience healing through deep connection by being seen and understood.

Relatefulness often pushes participants to the edge of their awareness, inviting growth through vulnerability and authenticity. Attendees are encouraged to take care of themselves, whether that means stepping away when needed or guiding the group into new ways of relating.

Logistics:

  • The event takes place at The Alembic with free parking available.
  • Doors close promptly at 6:35 PM to ensure an uninterrupted experience.
  • Tickets range from $10-$25 on a sliding scale, with a suggested donation of $15.
  • Advanced registration is highly recommended as the event frequently sells out. If unable to attend, participants are asked to request a refund to release the spot for others on the waitlist.

Josh Rosenberg (he/him), a certified facilitator through the Relateful Company, has been leading weekly Relatefulness sessions for over two years. He is also the CEO of the Forecasting Research Institute, a nonprofit focused on advancing forecasting science and its policy relevance.

Daniel Ricciardelli (he/him) is a certified Relatefulness practitioner with hundreds of hours in relational awareness practices. He brings over a decade of experience guiding men’s circles, dance teams, and meditation, and works full-time at the intersection of mental health and AI as a machine learning researcher.
