Ramen Kundu believes that yoga should be an essential part of daily life, a lifelong practice guiding individuals toward becoming a complete yogi. His fascination with yoga began during his college years, inspired by the ancient philosophies of Seers Gheranda and Patanjali, as interpreted by renowned yoga masters like Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, and Bikram, who brought these teachings to the West.

Since 2005, Ramen has immersed himself in various yoga disciplines—Gentle Yoga, Flow (Vinyasa), Iyengar, and Ashtanga—training regularly with skilled instructors across the San Francisco Bay Area. His deep commitment to yoga culminated in 2018 when he earned his 200-hour RYT certification from Yoga Alliance USA, followed by an additional 50 hours of Pranayama training at the Vedansha Institute in India. Since then, he has been teaching Flow Yoga at health clubs throughout the Bay Area.

Ramen’s All-Level Vinyasa classes combine dynamic movement with mindful breathing, creating a harmonious flow that caters to practitioners of all skill levels. His focus on synchronizing breath with movement helps students build strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. He emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of yoga, particularly its ability to support physical fitness and boost the immune system, making it a valuable practice for overall well-being.

Mindfulness is a key aspect of Ramen’s teaching style. He encourages students to engage fully with their bodies, ensuring that correct postures—whether sitting, standing, bending, or twisting—are achieved through focused awareness.
