DESCRIPTION:Arion Press warmly invites the community to celebrate the relea
 se of its latest publication\, Fables of Aesop\, with an engaging artist t
 alk featuring renowned author Daniel Handler as the moderator. This event 
 promises a lively on-stage discussion where Handler will converse with sev
 en talented artists who contributed their unique illustrations to this spe
 cial edition.\n\nFables of Aesop has been crafted to commemorate the 50th 
 anniversary of Arion Press. To mark this significant milestone\, the press
  invited 15 past artists to each illustrate a fable from Aesop's collectio
 n. This edition features contemporary morals penned by Daniel Handler and 
 includes a stunning sculptural box designed by the acclaimed artist Kiki S
 mith.\n\nThe roster of speakers will highlight a diverse array of particip
 ating artists\, including Sandow Birk\, Enrique Chagoya\, Kenturah Davis\,
  Natalie Frank\, Audrey Niffenegger\, Michele Oka Doner\, and Richard Wage
 ner. Following the conversation\, attendees will have the opportunity to e
 ngage in a Q&amp\;A session\, allowing for deeper interaction with the art
 ists and insights into their creative processes.\n\nDoors will open at noo
 n at the Bayfront Theater\, located on the third floor of Landmark Buildin
 g B at Fort Mason. This talk coincides with the public opening of Arion's 
 new facility at Fort Mason\, which will take place immediately after the e
 vent on the ground floor of Landmark Building B. This celebration not only
  highlights the artistic contributions to the Fables of Aesop but also mar
 ks an exciting new chapter for Arion Press as it continues to honor and el
 evate literary and artistic collaboration.\n\nAttendees can look forward t
 o a rich afternoon filled with creativity\, dialogue\, and the opportunity
