In a profound exploration of the body’s resonance with sound, this chakra sound bath presents an opportunity to engage with the various energy centers, or chakras, that play a vital role in both physical and psychological well-being. Each chakra is associated with distinct systems, and when these energy centers become blocked, stagnant, overly active, or misaligned, they can hinder overall health. Sound healing emerges as a transformative practice that retunes the cells, balances the chakras, and restores harmony, allowing individuals to vibrate at a more optimal frequency.

During the chakra sound bath, participants will embark on a journey of tuning their bodies from the root chakra to the crown chakra. The experience begins with an active chakra sound meditation, where attendees are invited to open their chakras using bija mantras and sound, enabling them to connect with their own vibrations and harness the healing power of their voices. Following this active meditation, the session transitions into a passive sound bath. Phoenix Song initiates this phase with the rhythmic pulse of shamanic buffalo drumming, which engages lower bass frequencies to induce theta brain waves—facilitating clarity, calm, and heightened creativity.

In this sound bath, the esraj, a hauntingly beautiful stringed instrument from India, is utilized to activate the second chakra. The deep, earthy tones of the didgeridoo, layered with overtones, serve to break up energy blocks, particularly when played over the heart chakra. To further elevate the experience, Native-style flutes, drone flutes, hand pans, Tibetan bowls, and bells are introduced to awaken the higher chakras. Throughout this healing journey, Phoenix Song incorporates their voice, invoking healing through Sanskrit mantras, prayers, spirituals, shamanic chanting, and angelic singing.

Participants often leave the session feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and deeply connected to their chakras, bodies, hearts, minds, and souls. Many report a sense of lightness and the release of burdens, with painful knots dissolving as energy begins to flow freely through previously stagnant areas. The whole body may resonate with vibrations, creating a tingling sensation that permeates the entire being.

This workshop is designed for individuals of all experience levels, welcoming both beginners and seasoned practitioners of sound healing. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket or warm clothes, as well as a yoga mat. For those who may not have these items, limited yoga props are available for use, and a bottle of water is recommended.
