This program is designed for yoga instructors, students, and the general public, offering a comprehensive exploration of ancient yoga practices. Participants will delve into the fundamental principles of yoga, including the Yamas and Niyamas, the nine types of Pranayama, as well as Dharana and Dhyana. This educational initiative aims to provide a deeper understanding of what yoga truly encompasses.

The curriculum will trace the origins of this ancient practice, shedding light on its historical significance and the purposes it serves in contemporary life. It will also examine the distinctions between Vinyasa Yoga, a modern interpretation, and the traditional Hatha Yoga practices that have been passed down through generations.

Participants will gain insight into Indian culture and ways of living that can enhance their spiritual connection and its relation to yoga. This includes an exploration of morning rituals, mantras, prayers, and cultivating a mindset that honors life and death.

In addition to the philosophical aspects, the program will address Asanas, emphasizing the various purposes of seated, standing, and balancing poses. Attendees will learn how to engage with these postures first through mental visualization and then through physical practice, enabling them to integrate the benefits into their daily lives beyond the mat.

A key component of the program is the development of a personalized Sadhana, or spiritual practice. Participants will explore different rituals to incorporate into their morning routines, which can support emotional management, improve decision-making, enhance relationships, and bolster overall mental health. By fostering these practices, individuals can cultivate their spiritual growth and connection to yoga.

Through this educational journey, participants will not only learn about ancient yoga’s rich traditions and practices but will also discover practical tools to enhance their spiritual lives and well-being in a modern context.
