Sol Community Village is proud to partner with Dusty’s Fishing Well for the 3rd Annual Black Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, an empowering and inspiring event dedicated to the journey from surviving to thriving after a cancer diagnosis. This event will be hosted at the Dusty’s Fishing Well/City EMT Building in San Francisco, offering a warm and welcoming space for a day of reflection, growth, and community.

The luncheon, themed “From Survivor to Thriver: A Transactional Approach,” will explore the cancer journey with a focus on moving beyond survival and creating “Thriver Tribes.” Attendees will learn how to shift from merely enduring to embracing life through practical strategies that foster healing, resilience, and personal transformation. By utilizing a transactional approach, participants will discover ways to create a “new normal” and thrive in various aspects of life.

The event will feature insights and stories from caregivers, service providers, and individuals who have walked this difficult path. Together, they will share invaluable experiences, offering support and guidance on navigating the emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges of cancer survivorship.

In addition to engaging discussions, attendees will enjoy a delicious brunch, participate in fun games, win exciting prizes, and connect with others in the community. This gathering is not only about awareness but also about fostering a strong, supportive network for those impacted by breast cancer.
