The Chapel of the Chimes, the largest above-ground cemetery west of the Mississippi, serves as a captivating setting for this event. Originally a streetcar station, it was converted into the California Memorial Crematorium and Columbarium in 1909. Renowned architects Julia Morgan and Aaron Green, a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright, significantly contributed to its expansion and redesign. Today, it stands as a historical landmark, offering a full range of end-of-life services and being part of a premier network of Bay Area cemeteries and funeral homes.
