  of the Chimes\, the largest above-ground cemetery west of the Mississippi

 station\, it was converted into the California Memorial Crematorium and Co
 lumbarium in 1909. Renowned architects Julia Morgan and Aaron Green\, a pr
 otégé of Frank Lloyd Wright\, significantly contributed to its expansion
  and redesign. Today\, it stands as a historical landmark\, offering a ful
 l range of end-of-life services and being part of a premier network of Bay
