Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot 5K/10K/13.1 SAN FRANCISCO
Join the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot Run in San Francisco, where participants can burn off their turkey feast and enjoy a day of fitness and fun! This community event offers a choice of 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon (13.1 miles), making it the perfect way to set a goal, gather friends and family, and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with an active twist.
Event Overview:
This popular run is expected to sell out quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Waves will close as soon as they reach capacity. If a wave is sold out, participants can opt for the virtual run option or join the waitlist. The event is designed to be an intimate group run, with limited spots available per wave.
Participants of all ages and paces are welcome, including those under 18, provided they are accompanied by a guardian. The emphasis is on enjoyment, with no complicated setups or equipment needed—just a straightforward run supported by event coordinators.
Timing Options:
Timing is optional for participants. Runners can track their times using apps like Strava, RunKeeper, or Nike Run, and submit their results through a simple online form for posting. Alternatively, coordinators can assist in timing, making this a stress-free event aimed at helping everyone achieve their personal fitness goals. There will be no timing chips used.
Participant Swag:
All registered participants will receive a swag bag that includes:
- A running T-shirt, shipped to the registered address (available in the US only)
- A finisher’s towel or giveaway
- A finisher’s medal, which will be mailed after the event (participants should email for this after the run)
- A training pack filled with free giveaways
- The option to receive online results and a certificate of completion
- An upgrade option for technical running shirts—lightweight and moisture-wicking—for just $5 more
- An opportunity to join a new running club, which allows members to participate in any three of our races throughout the year, plus receive a hoodie, tank top, cap, or custom name shirt!

Packet Pickup:
Participants will enjoy a hassle-free experience with no packet pickup required. All swag will be shipped directly to the provided address, so it’s important to ensure that the full and correct US mailing address is submitted, including apartment numbers and correct spellings. Race bibs will be distributed on race day.
