DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness of the Body is a transformative class designed to h
 elp individuals connect deeply with the innate wisdom of their bodies whil
 e finding rest and rejuvenation. This course encompasses several key compo
 nents to facilitate a holistic experience:\n\n 	Exploration of the Body’
 s Systems: Participants will engage in in-depth explorations of the body's
  essential systems\, including the muscular\, skeletal\, and nervous syste
 ms\, alongside the chakra system. This exploration fosters a deeper unders
 tanding of somatics\, emphasizing the importance of harmony among these sy
 stems for optimal well-being.\n 	Movement Practice: Gentle movement exerci
 ses are integrated to awaken and honor the body's natural rhythms. Through
  yoga and mindful stretching\, attendees will practice intuitive movements
  tailored to their unique needs\, promoting greater bodily awareness and c
 omfort.\n 	Sitting Practice: A vital aspect of the class involves sitting 
 meditation\, allowing participants to cultivate stillness\, presence\, and
  a profound connection to their bodies. This practice enables individuals 
 to listen to and feel their body’s energy\, tuning into its signals and 
 subtle wisdom.\n 	Journaling: Reflective journaling will play a crucial ro
 le throughout the class\, providing participants with a space to process t

 ourney of discovery where the body and breath serve as guides toward great
 er self-awareness\, rest\, healing\, and empowerment.\n\nInstructor: The c
 lass is offered by Jennifer Reyes Moran\, a healer and holistic bodyworker
  with over 24 years of experience in helping individuals enhance their bod
 ily well-being. Throughout her career\, she has supported many mothers dur
 ing childbirth\, witnessing the miraculous yet complex journey of bringing
  new life into the world. Drawing from her own healing journey and extensi
 ve knowledge in somatics\, psychology\, special education\, bodywork\, ene
 rgy work\, integrative medicine\, and birthwork\, Jen is deeply committed 
 to promoting health equity and building strong families and communities.\n
