SUMMARY:Queer & Well TIGNC Resilience Flow - A Decolonized Yoga Class 2
DESCRIPTION:The "Queer &amp\; Well TIGNC Resilience Flow - A Decolonized Yo
ga Class 2" is a yoga session designed to serve the trans\, intersex\, and
gender nonconforming (TIGNC) communities\, with particular emphasis on ce
ntering QTBIPOC (Queer\, Trans\, Black\, Indigenous\, and People of Color)
individuals. Led by a nonbinary instructor\, the class draws upon ancient
yogic teachings\, particularly those of Patanjali\, the historical archiv
ist behind the Yoga Sutras\, which highlight the mental focus of yoga. The
Resilience Flow series integrates these philosophies\, utilizing sacred p
ractices to help participants process emotions\, release stress\, and deto
xify their physical\, mental\, and spiritual selves.\n\nThe essence of dec
olonized yoga\, as practiced in Resilience Flow\, lies in its mindful conn
ection to the natural cycles of life\, embracing what is present. The clas
s invites participants to reflect on the balance between life's dualities:
recognizing that grief is intertwined with love\, creativity coexists wit
h the fear of change\, and stress is a natural part of existence. Through
the practice\, students learn to guide their bodies back to states of peac
 e\, rest\, and calm amid life’s inevitable challenges.\n\nSola Habibi\,
 the facilitator\, is a nonbinary\, neurodivergent\, and multi-heritage que
er individual who creates healing spaces through a combination of yoga\, c
ommunity-building\, art\, and connection to nature. With over 13 years of
yoga experience and a 200-hour yoga teacher certification obtained in 2023
from Oceanic Yoga in Goa\, India\, Sola is dedicated to fostering inclusi
ve environments. Their approach centers on helping BIPOC\, queer\, trans\,
and gender nonconforming individuals find support and community as they n
avigate difficult emotions. Each class incorporates a blend of discussions
 \, movement\, meditation\, breathwork\, and chanting\, offering a holistic
healing experience.\n\nMore about Sola Habibi’s offerings can be found
 on their website: solahabibi.com/yoga.\n\nGET TICKETS\n
