 ” It is a simple yet profound technique that brings balance to the body\
 , mind\, and spirit. Practitioners of Reiki receive empowerments known as 
 reiju (or initiations/attunements) to facilitate healing.\n\nThe third-deg
 ree training\, also called Shinpiden (which means "mystery teachings")\, i
 s targeted at those who have completed the second degree and are either pr
 acticing or teaching Reiki. This training emphasizes not just the ability 
 to teach but also fosters personal spiritual development and the attainmen
 t of inner peace. Participants of this advanced training become shihan\, w
 hich translates to "instructor" in Japanese\, but is commonly known as "Re
