Revitalizing Vinyasa offers a rejuvenating yoga experience designed to help participants reset and recharge for the week ahead. Each class is thoughtfully grounded in a concept from the 8 limbs of Yoga, blending physical movement with mindful practices to cultivate a balanced mind and body.

The class begins with a brief meditation or Pranayama (breathing practice), followed by traditional Sun Salutation sequences. Students will then move into a thoughtfully sequenced series of poses, designed to both invigorate and ground them. Whether you’re looking to break a sweat or simply find your center, the class provides modifications to support all levels, ensuring accessibility for beginners and challenges for more advanced practitioners.

By the end of the session, participants can expect to feel refreshed and complete, ready to face the rest of the day with renewed energy and focus.

About the Instructor:

Malika Rubin-Davis brings a wealth of experience and creativity to her yoga practice. Raised in the small towns of Sonoma County, California, Malika has always been connected to nature, spending her childhood gardening, exploring the outdoors, and engaging in artistic pursuits. After earning a BA in Visual Art from Brown University in 2008, she honed her skills in earth-based crafts and pursued a brief career as an educator in Oakland Public Schools. However, she eventually transitioned away from classroom teaching to focus on her artistic endeavors and to hold space for learning and personal growth in different ways.

In addition to teaching watercolor, spinning, and knitting workshops, Malika is a certified yoga instructor, having completed a 200-hour Yoga Veda Vinyasa Teacher Training under the guidance of Kameko Shibata and Kanami Anderson. This training reignited her passion for the full system of yoga, including the 8 limbs, which she now incorporates into her classes. Her goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where students can explore Meditation, Pranayama, and the principles of the Yoga Sutras while deepening their practice.

Malika’s unique blend of artistry and mindfulness fosters a supportive and creative space, helping students connect with their bodies and minds in a holistic way.
