The 2024 SF Coffee Festival Latte Art Competition, presented by Heirloom Coffee Roasters, invites baristas to showcase their latte art skills. Competitors must hold a valid entry ticket to the SF Coffee Festival (purchased separately) to participate in this single-elimination contest. Using only the free-pour technique, baristas will have 5 minutes to craft their design, with one attempt allowed per round. Judged on design, creativity, execution, and more, participants must deliver their latte to a designated spot for evaluation. The winner, selected by a panel of judges, will be announced on Sunday, November 10, 2024. All equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and milk, will be provided, though competitors can use their own milk pitchers if preferred. This exciting competition tests artistry, precision, and barista skills in a high-energy, live setting.
