DESCRIPTION:Experience a transformative Sound Bath Meditation designed to i
 mmerse participants in soothing sound waves\, creating a serene and rejuve
 nating atmosphere. With limited spots available\, this intimate gathering 
 operates on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and admission is just $25 
 per person. Attendees can register below or opt to pay at the door (cash o

 at Is a Sound Bath?\n\nA sound bath is a meditative experience where atten
 dees are enveloped in sound waves produced by instruments such as gongs an
 d singing bowls. Participants typically lie on their backs\, often referre
 d to as the Savasana position in yoga\, allowing the calming energy to was
 h over them. These intimate sessions with small groups provide a relaxing 
 and rejuvenating way to conclude the day.\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\nTo ensure m
 aximum comfort\, participants should bring a yoga mat\, pillow\, and blank
 et\, along with an eye mask if desired. For those who may have difficulty 
 lying down\, a blanket and pillow will suffice. Since evenings can be chil
 ly\, a warm blanket is also recommended.\n\nSound Healing Practitioner:\n\
 nLeading the session is Sally Porter Munro\, a talented mezzo-soprano orig
 inally from London\, England. A graduate of the Royal Northern College of 
 Music in Manchester\, she has extensive experience performing with prestig
 ious organizations such as the English National Opera and the Royal Opera 
 de la Monnaie in Brussels. After relocating to New York City for further s
 tudies\, she eventually moved to San Francisco\, where she has sung as a s
 oloist with various opera companies and orchestras. In addition to her per
 formance career\, Ms. Munro teaches singing and the Alexander Technique\, 
 having been a faculty member of the San Francisco Girls’ Chorus for twen
 ty years and currently teaching at The Young Women’s Choral Project.\n\n
