SUMMARY:YOGA at the UICC
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nJoin the UICC (United Irish Cultural Center) for a we
 ekly yoga practice that invites participants to engage in a nurturing and 
 calming experience. This class focuses on Hatha yoga\, characterized by a 
 slower-paced flow of postures accompanied by gentle breathwork and meditat
 ion\, making it ideal for all levels of practitioners.\n\nWhat to Bring:\n
 Attendees are required to bring their own yoga mats to the class. It is al
 so advisable to bring additional items such as a blanket or cushion for ex
 tra comfort\, as well as yoga blocks to assist with poses.\n\nAbout the In
 structor:\nThe yoga sessions are led by Karen Olivia Kiely\, a dedicated i
 nstructor with a 300-hour yoga teacher training certification from Cork. S
 ince moving to San Francisco in 2011\, Karen embarked on her yoga teaching
  journey\, completing her initial training in 2019. She has since continue
 d her education in both California and Ireland\, offering a blend of local
  and cultural wisdom in her classes.\n\nKaren leads summer yoga retreats i
 n Ireland and teaches classes both in-person in San Francisco and online. 
 Her classes create a welcoming environment for individuals of all body typ
 es\, genders\, and ages\, allowing participants to gently move\, breathe\,
  and cultivate mindfulness. Infusing her sessions with Celtic wisdom\, ast
 rological insights\, and the cúpla focail (a few words of Irish)\, she fo
 sters a unique connection between yoga and culture.\n\nKaren believes that
  yoga is not about achieving perfection but about nurturing a positive rel
 ationship with oneself. She is excited to guide the UICC community in thei
 r weekly yoga practice\, encouraging everyone to explore their own journey
