Event Type
Participants are invited to experience a transformative 60-minute session focused on deep tissue self-massage through the innovative use of Yoga Tune-Up balls and foam rollers. This class promotes the creation of a liberating routine, featuring enjoyable rollout sequences tailored to target specific trigger points and relieve tension based on the unique goals of each session.
Incorporating myofascial tune-up techniques into a regular weekly routine enhances circulation and recovery while rebuilding elasticity and mobility. These practices also foster resilience, allowing individuals to bounce back into action more effectively. Utilizing massage tools not only provides physical relief but also activates proprioceptive feedback, which is vital for awakening dormant nerves and muscles. The mental health benefits associated with massage are extensive and cannot be overstated in this brief description.
At Glow, the emphasis on fascia care stems from its critical role in the body. Fascia is a delicate tissue that envelops every muscle, bone, and organ. It also houses the lymphatic and neural networks, functioning as a cohesive system that holds the body together. When fascia tightens and thickens, it results in a loss of elasticity, leading to pain, chronic tension, and arthritis in the joints.
This class is specifically designed to support myofascial recovery while helping participants unwind mentally and emotionally from their week. Each session begins with a calming breathing exercise aimed at relaxing the mind and decluttering thoughts. By the end of the class, participants can expect to feel rejuvenated and blissfully relaxed, almost like “happy mellow jello.”
